Solis Credit continues to invest in the future of Trinidad and Tobago's children through meaningful partnerships that promote literacy, education and youth development.Â
Most recently, the company supported Lange Insurance and Financial's Literacy Drive, donating more than 50 Solis Credit-branded pencil cases filled with stationery to children benefiting from the initiative. Members of the Solis Credit team were also on hand to support the event, which was inspired by Lange Insurance and Financial’s Manager Petra Chadees' longstanding passion for reading and literacy.Â
For Chadee, the initiative was deeply personal. "Reading has always been an important part of my life and it's something I've intentionally encouraged in my own children from a very young age. Books open minds, build confidence and create opportunities that last a lifetime. I truly believe literacy gives every child the chance to dream bigger and build a brighter future, and I'm grateful to everyone who joined us in making this initiative possible."Â
The Literacy Drive forms part of a growing series of community partnerships supported by Solis Credit, reflecting the company's belief that investing in education is one of the most meaningful ways to strengthen communities.Â

Earlier this year, Solis Credit sponsored a child for one year through MOMS for Literacy, a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving literacy across Trinidad and Tobago. The company also supported the St. James Police Youth Club's "No Child Left Behind" School and Uniform Drive, helping to provide educational essentials to a secondary school student.Â
Together, these initiatives represent more than individual donations, they reflect a long-term commitment to supporting young people through education and opportunity.
Candice Adams, Group Marketing and Sales Manager, said the company intentionally set out this year to become more involved in the communities it serves.Â
"At the beginning of this year, we made a commitment to connect more meaningfully with our communities and support initiatives that create lasting impact. We recognise that meaningful change isn't something any one organisation can achieve alone. It takes collaboration between businesses, community organisations, NGOs and passionate individuals who all share the same vision. We're proud to work alongside partners like Lange Insurance and Financial and organisations such as MOMS for Literacy and the St. James Police Youth Club to

help invest in our children's futures."Â Â
Solis Credit believes partnerships are one of the most effective ways to extend the reach and impact of community initiatives. By working alongside businesses, non-profit organisations and community leaders, the company hopes to help create more opportunities for children to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.Â
As the company continues to expand its corporate social responsibility programme, education and youth development will remain central pillars of its efforts.Â
